Character Details

Generally tends to resemble a guy who's been chased through very dense bushland. Smells like soil and sulphur. Very professional about everything, which is good when you're going to be standing in a narrow corridor with your enemies for a while. Claims the big glasses help conceal his identity (they don't).

It's an ugly job, but someone's got to do it. He always preferred guns, but they weren't always viable in his line of work, and despite sticking out like a sore thumb in his homeland, outside of it he was always just about awkward enough to fade into the background. Working at Mann Co. brings a welcome reprieve - he kills far more often in a single day than he ever did anywhere else, but in its impermanence, he becomes a hindrance rather than a life-ender. Or, at least, that's how he thinks of it.

Notes

I don't remember why I decided backstabs had to go, but I did. Although, in essence I've just introduced a worse feature, since there's no mechanic for breaking out if RS!Spy gets you, and it takes time to finish - although, I figure RS!Spy could just run away if, say, he saw a Pyro approaching.

Bushman's Timepiece

Weapon Equivalent:Stock Watch

Appearance: As in game

Stats: As in game

Purpose: Hide for a little bit

Stock Cloak

Weapon Equivalent: None

Appearance: Defined by the absense of any clear object

Stats: Cloaks for an unlimited period of time on concrete or wood. Upon taking damage, healing, or stepping off, cooldown reset for 30 seconds.

Purpose: For hiding between but not necessarily in the walls

Droughtbreaker

Weapon Equivalent: None

Appearance: When undisguised, consists of a lot of leaves and branches in the hair, with green stripes on the face.

Stats: Cloaks for an unlimited period of time on grass or dirt. Upon taking damage, healing, or stepping off, cooldown reset for 30 seconds.

Purpose: Stand in a field and become invisible to the world

Tiger's Cloak

Weapon Equivalent: Cloak and Dagger

Appearance: When undisguised, consists of prominent ochre, green and black stripes across the visible skin.

Stats: When standing still, become invisible and charge cloak. Cloak holds up to 4 seconds of charge at once. If damaged, break cloak.

Purpose: Trades very delicate control for versaility.

Lyrebird

Weapon Equivalent: Your Eternal Reward

Appearance: A pair of full-size brown leather gloves.

Stats: Randomly mimics class-specific actions when disguised, and disguises attacks as those of the class you are mimicking; attacking while disguised therefore does not break disguise. Extra 50% damage vulnerability while cloaked.

Purpose: Steal people's identities better in exchange for dying of a stubbed toe

Secondaries

Spy Machine Gun

Weapon Equivalent: SMG

Appearance: As in game

Stats: Bullet damage is halved in comparison to Sniper. Silenced.

Purpose: Chip off health quickly at medium range

Stock Revolver

Weapon Equivalent: N/A

Appearance: As in game

Stats: As in game

Purpose: Larger bursts of damage at larger intervals, with slightly more range

Taipan

Weapon Equivalent: Diamondback

Appearance: As in game

Stats: Provides 1 crit for every building destroyed and 2 for every melee kill.

Purpose: Rewards varying strategies and careful picks.

Magpies's Beak

Weapon Equivalent: Ambassador

Appearance: A SMG with a black-and-white body.

Stats: Crits on headshot. 20% slower firing speed.

Purpose: Temporarily become a weird Heavy-Sniper hybrid.

Melees

Stock Garrotte

Weapon Equivalent: Stock Knife

Appearance: Wood handles on a metal string.

Stats: When attacking from behind, drains enemy health by 16.7% max health per second. Prevents voice commands while doing so.

Purpose: Stock melee

Red-Belly

Weapon Equivalent: Kunai

Appearance: Metal handles on a string much like medigun fluid.

Stats: Upon attack from behind, drains enemy health by 16.7% max health per second, and restores health at a ratio of 1 HP for every 2 drained, allowing overheal. Max health is reduced by 20.

Purpose: Trades initial survivability for long term sustain

Steely Conviction

Weapon Equivalent: Big Earner

Appearance: Wood handles and a doubled wire.

Stats: Upon attack from behind, drains enemy health by 12.5% max health per second. Upon a successful attack, gain 20 HP buffer before cloak breaks, up to 80 HP.

Purpose: Allows Good Ideas to be exchanged for Bad Ideas later on.

Red-Iron Tourniquet

Weapon Equivalent: Spycicle

Appearance: Rubber handles and metal wires. Upon activation, the string glows red-hot.

Stats: Upon attack from behind, drains enemy health by 16.7% max health per second. If the spy has been set on fire in the last 30 seconds, drains enemy health by 25% max health per second.

Purpose: Rewards Escaping

Sappers

Stock Sapper

Weapon Equivalent: N/A

Appearance: As in game

Stats: As in game

Purpose: Break stuff

Red-Tape Recorder

Weapon Equivalent: N/A

Appearance: As in game

Stats: As in game. Takes 4 hits to remove, or 2 for the Homewrecker.

Purpose: Encourages sappers as a distraction rather than an outright destroyer.
